One plane of VMB 613 harassed Mille Atoll.  The plane was over the target from 2332M to 0248M.  Three 250# G.P., ten 75mm., eight 5" rockets, and 600 rounds of 50 cal. were expended on the islands of the atoll with approximately 75 percent hits in the target area.  Approximately twenty runs were made in all directions, being initiated at 3000 feet and releases at 2000 feet.  Damage was unobserved due to darkness and altitude.  No A/A fire was observed.  The weather over the target was 7/10 cumulus with bases at 1500 feet.
